NDG is pleased to offer a farmer’s market solution that is affordable and meets the requirements of processing SNAP, WIC, FMNP and CVB benefits. Mobile Market+ is an application designed to enable farmer’s market and small non-traditional retailers the ability to process WIC, SNAP, credit and debit transactions. Mobile Market+ is an application that works on either an iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad. Mobile Market+™ connects directly through a secure and encrypted connection therefore eliminating any Third Party Processor or gateway fees for WIC and SNAP transactions. Mobile Market+™ provides the following features:
- Process SNAP/WIC CVB/WIC/FMNP transactions on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
- Provides the ability to email, text or print receipts.
- GPS functionality support to enable location services for tracking activity.
- Small footprint with the ability to operate with no power.
- Portal to view transactions and online receipts.
- Devices can be remotely disabled.
- Email notification for out of state transactions.
Mobile Market+ allows vendors to be added to track items to each individual farmer. This provides the State with the flexibility of using one device that can track multiple farmers or the option of using several devices. The ability to add, edit and delete vendors allows the State with multiple options for implementing their farmer’s market solution.
Mobile Market+ provides various reports that can be utilized by the farmer’s market for reconciliation of transaction activity. Mobile Market provides a retailer, vendor and terminal totals report. These reports allow the farmer’s market to easily reconcile back to their ACH deposit or reconcile transactions back to each farmer. Reports can be executed on demand and are immediately available for printing from the device.
Mobile Market+ Portal
In addition, to providing a wireless mobile solution Mobile Market+ also provides the State and authorized retailers with a portal that provides the following functionality:
- Transaction History by Farmers Market
- GPS Location of Transactions
- Remote Device Management
- Online Receipts
- Out of State Transaction Reporting
The Mobile Market+ portal provides the state with vendor contact information, terminal information and associated transaction history. Authorized users can view and search for vendors by name or by performing a wildcard search. Each authorized vendor contains links and information about the vendor and device transactions.
Mobile Market+ provides the state with reverse GPS location information for a detailed view of where a transaction took place based on the GPS coordinates. Users can search for transactions by entering a date range and additional filters can be used for narrowing specific transaction data. User filters such as phone, transaction type and response can be utilized to filter and define query results. In addition, various map options exist for viewing the transaction location data by selecting Map, Satellite, Hybrid or Terrain.
Transaction detail and online receipts are also available to the state through the Mobile Market+ Portal. Mobile Market+ provides detailed transaction information for each transaction along with online receipts. Detailed transaction information such as transaction date, settlement date, card number, transaction type and response code are provided for each transaction.
